As some of you know I enjoy getting outdoors and going on adventures in the wilderness. If its a canoe trip, hiking trip, or hitting the trails with my cross country skis, my spirit is alive in the outdoors.
In a few weeks I will be embarking on a canoe trip from the northern end of Lake Winnipeg to the shores of the Hudson's Bay along one of Canada's historical Canadian River systems; the Hayes River. We will be travelling 600km through unspoiled wilderness of the northern boreal forest, remote stretches of white-water, large lake systems, deep valleys, sacred places of worship, pictograph sites and tidal flats. Heading out into the Canadian wilderness for a 25 day paddle along the historic Hayes river from Norway House to York Factory (Hudson Bay). This is an opportunity to paddle a chronicled historic river that has been left pristine and not been touched with dams or development.
Here is a collection of some outdoor adventures that I have been on in the last little while. If you would like to see more, be sure to check out carolinewintoniw.exposure.co to see the full stories.
