The Church in the Middle of the Road.

This winter my good friend Darin proposed. Kristina (another good friend) and I were honored to be able to help with the set up of the day. The four of us met in the morning for a delicious brunch and then went our separate ways. Shortly after we "departed" Darin called us and we went to pick him up. We loaded our car with candles, glass jars, hot chocolate and then headed to drop a letter off for Kaily. The plan was that Kaily would go into work that evening (Darin had prearranged to have her shift covered without her knowing). When Kaily would arrive at work her manager would hand her the letter from Darin, which included instruction on where to find him. After dropping off the letter we drove to the church in the middle of the road and began to fill it with the warm glow of candles. The night fell upon us, and we left Darin stranded in the middle of the road waiting for Kaily. Shortly after we received a call that they were getting MARRIED! I am so excited for these two to continue their life together and Kristina and I are looking forward to capturing their special day!
The following pictures were taken with HP5 film pushed to 800. The film was developed by hand with love.
Love this story, these pictures, that church that I will think of this every time I pass it now, and all of you involved! Beautiful!
