Where the Light Lands

This past fall I was part of a show at ViewPoint Gallery in Winnipeg, Manitoba with photographer Daniel Menheer, titled Where the Light Lands...Exploring Intimate Landscapes.  It was really exciting to share this collection of photographs with others in the city. The show became a part of FLASH Photographic Festival in Winnipeg, and one of my images was shown at a showcase at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

I still have a few prints available from this collection for sale, if you would like to bring one of these images home, please contact me! Here are a few images, to see more check out the gallery on my website Where the Light Lands.

Where the Light Lands is a collection of images shown at ViewPoint Gallery - Fall 2014, as part of an exhibit with Photographer Daniel Menheer.

“Where the Light Lands...Exploring Intimate Landscapes”

Drawn to the nuances of the natural world, Wintoniw and Menheer have spent most of their time in the field creating intimate images of a world that is both fragile and harsh, often abused and taken for granted. The connection they have with nature is one that is not often seen, and has made for some truly memorable images of the places they love. Come and get lost in the images; to see the beauty in things not often seen and to enjoy discovering where the light lands.
